A preliminary redevelopment plan has been prepared by County Planning/Redevelopment staff by direction of the County Board of Supervisors (Redevelopment Agency). In addition, an RFP was published and closed in late January soliciting for general plan amendment, master development planning, airport master planning an environmental impact report (including financing plans and phasing plans). ESA Airports was awarded that contract in March 2006 - that contract has been suspended pending Master Developer outcomes. Preliminary activities/Timelines: July 10, 2006 - County Planning staff held a town hall meeting in Patterson to share development scenarios and seek input from the community. August 16, 2006 - Crows Steering Committee reviewed reuse scenarios - unanimously agreeing upon scenario #3 (see master plan concept paper under library tab) September 26, 2006 - County Board of Supervisors approved reuse scenario #3 as conceptual approach. October 2 - RFP (two phase process) published seeking Master Developer partner. RFP closes 11.6.06 November 20 - first review - screening team. December 4, 2006 Interviews December 6, 2006 - Special Crows Landing Steering Committee Meeting January 17, 2007 - Special Crows Landing Steering Committee Meeting - Project Proponents/Presentations February 13, 2007 - Information ONLY item to County Board of Supervisors - Presentations of proposals and public comment. February 27, 2007 - County Board of Supervisors identified West Park as the master development candidate to negotiate toward development agreements over the next 12 months. March 6, 2007 - County Board appoints Supervisor DeMartini and Supervisor Monteith as Ad Hoc to oversee exclusive negotiation process with West Park. June 5, 2007 - County Board approves quarter one milestones - see quarter one report under library tab. August 28, 2007 - County Board approves quarter two milestones - see quarter two report under library tab. December 18, 2007 - County Board approves quarter three milestones - see quarter three report under library tab. April 22, 2008 - PENDING - Quarter four final report to County Board of Supervisors.
